Hi, my name is Troy Wood. At the age of nine, I was bullied and
chased home from school everyday in total fear. One afternoon I
decided: no more. Enough is enough. To my surprise, when I
stopped running, they stopped chasing, no attacks, no fisticuffs they
just stopped!  Looking back, I understand why I needed control--it
was how I kept myself safe. I was so young, I couldn't have known
where that decision would lead. But something in me knew I had to
take control of the narrative--to protect myself, and to protect who
I'd become.

That decision shaped the rest of my life. My work life started at 18 in
manufacturing. By 19, I was promoted to supervisor. In my late 20s,
I became a shift manager, leading larger teams and taking on more
responsibility. Along the way, I started multiple businesses and built
teams from the ground up. In my 50s, I was promoted to plant
manager, responsible for people, performance, and culture across
the operation. In 2022, I deepened my expertise and expanded my
ability to serve others by completing the Canada Coach & Mentor
Academy’s Life & Wellness Coaching Certification program.  
 
From a scared nine-year-old to a seasoned leader, to a Certified
Professional coach one theme has stayed constant: when you
